Okay, so, here’s the thing about getting an Uruguayan driver’s license online. I tried it, and I wanna share my experience with you all.
First, I started digging around to see what’s up with getting a driver’s license in Uruguay. Turns out, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has some online services for this. It’s not super clear, but there are forms you can download.
I found some links that were just a bunch of style sheets and stuff, totally useless for what I needed.
- One was like, “link type=text/css rel=stylesheet id=seckit-clickjacking-noscript-tag media=all href=/parivahan//sites/all/modules/seckit/css/*_*” – what am I supposed to do with that?

Then I stumbled upon a site that was offering some cannabis, but I don’t need that. It seems to be a dispensary in New York.
Diving Deeper
I kept looking and found a site for the Louisiana Department of Public Safety. They have online services for renewing driver’s licenses and getting ID cards. I figured it might be similar, but no, it’s a totally different place. I don’t need that.
Another site I found was talking about food delivery from local restaurants. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, you name it. Again, not what I’m looking for, but it got me thinking, maybe I should order some food while I figure this out.
Honestly, the whole process is way more complicated than it should be. There’s a bunch of random stuff out there that’s not even related to what you’re trying to do. But, hey, at least I know where to order a good meal now, right?
In the end, it seems like getting the Uruguayan driver’s license online is not a good idea. But I will keep looking into it and share with you guys if I found something useful!
